Uttarakhand Patwari Exam Pattern 2017

The written test will be multiple choice objective type.

There will be a composite paper carrying 200 questions.

03:00 hours (180 minutes) will be allowed to solve the paper.

There will also be negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer.

General Awareness – 100 questions

General Science, Computer Science, Internet, Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, Indian National Movements, Indian Polity, Economy, Indian Geography and demographics, Public Administration, Geography and demographics of Uttarakhand, Economical, Political & Administrative Environment of Uttarakhand, Economical and Natural Resources of Uttarakhand, National and International current events, questions related to National & International games and Sports, History of Uttarakhand state, Historical, Ancient and related to Archaeology places, Tourism and Religious places and events, folk literature, traditions, rituals, costumes, fairs and festivals, folk singing, folk dance, musical instruments etc.

General Intelligence – 50 questions

There will be verbal and non-verbal both type questions related to General Intelligence includes sequences, similarities and differences spatial imagination, problem solving, analysis, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concept, series, arithmetical calculations, finding conclusion and interpretation from given data in form of statistical articles and graphs and other analyzing works etc.

General Hindi – 50 questions

Vocabulary related to popular languages and dialects of Uttarakhand, idioms of Hindi language, spelling, phrases, antonyms, ambiguous, synonyms, prefix, suffix, treaty break, figure of speech, compound, administrative and legal terminology.
