(UPRVUNL) conducts the examination for the selection of eligible candidates
from the applied candidates.

AE & JE Exam Pattern 2017
There will be computer based test which contains 200
questions of 200 marks (1 Mark for each question).
The test will be an objective type with multiple
choices of answers.
Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third
of the marks assigned to that question.
If no answer is marked for a question,
there will be no penalty for that question.

There will be 200 Questions of Objective Type with
Multiple Choices.
Total numbers of marks -200 marks, each question will
be of 1 mark.
The Time Duration Will be 3 Hours.
Total numbers of questions are 200 questions. The
Questions will be asked from the following areas.
20 questions will be Technical Subjects concerned with
posts.
20 questions will be From General Knowledge.
20 Questions will be from Logical
10 questions will be from General Hindi.
Test will be conducted online and Negative marking is
available for each wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.

in Detail
All the electrical engineering questions will only be
asked in this examination. Aspirants who are preparing for the exam can prepare
themselves by studying the degree in diploma based questions.
In exam of general awareness, questions will be asked
about famous personalities of India, famous places in India, Indian history,
Indian politics and day today current affairs or events in India.
For general reasoning section, questions will be from
number series, code-decode, logical problems, statement and assumption, and
verbal reasoning.
General Hindi section contains questions from
synonyms-antonyms and basic grammar.
Personal
interview
Candidates who qualify in the Written Test will have to
face the Personal Interview. The Marks for Interview will be total 25 Marks.
